Diego Ortega Algarra Sculptor & Painter
Member of the international Sculpture Center, Washington, DC.
Born in Valencia, Spain in 1937, his childhood and adolescence were spent half in Malaga, Spain, half in Marsella, France.
Painter, Muralist and Sculptor, he studied plastic arts under the guidance of the Painters, Elmer Goiner, Ernesto Frioli, and Jannet Chevalier. His artistic vocation flourished in Brazil, where he has been residing during thirty years.
Such artist collaborated with Clovis Graciano in the execution of the murals painted in the "Salon Noble" of the Municipal room in San Pablo, Brazil.
In 1979 Mr. Ortega, established his own Foundry in Brazil. Among bis most remarkable work, we can mention monumental pieces in bronze and polychromatic cement, commissioned by prestigious architects to the construction of buildings destinated to companies and public organization.

Returned into Spain the artist dedicated this period to make new paintings. He also worked freelance to several Art Galleries in Malaga, Spain.
1996 to 1999.
This period have been spent in the study of the greatest composers and scholars of the XIII Century. One of them was Robert Fludd. As well Mr. Ortega investigated about the Theory and practice of Music. Investigated about the "Music of the Spheres'". As a result, he painted personages and sets to his Project "Sidereal Concert".Por Mil Años de Paz

He has been exploring into the musical composition; he composed toward his project "Concert for the Word Peace".
